Young Adult Staff Member
(YAS)
The Young Adult Staff team is an integral
part of the conference leadership, working in all areas
of the event, including small group leadership, platform
presence, general program work - you name it!!
The
role is much more than that of a work crew, because team
members interact with ALL conferees on a daily basis.
They are among the most important examples of Christian
discipleship at the program! College Age young
people may apply for this position. (more

Small Group Leader
Small
Group Leaders work with a group of 9-13 youth on a
daily, and sometimes twice daily basis! Small
groups meet for conversation, bible study, reflection
and theme exploration, with an emphasis on how the
themes touch us personally. In addition to the
regularly scheduled meeting times, groups may be
gathered to participate together in community wide
recreation, spirituality activities and plenary
participation. These groups serve as communities
within the larger community and are often a "home" base
for many young people. Generally, each small group
will have at least one other adult participant included
in its membership. (more info
